There are batteries that are used to start the vehicle, and there are batteries which are used to power various electrical systems. Therefore, it’s important to choose the one that fits your needs and your RV. If in doubt, the RV’s instruction manual or website is the final say to what type of battery can be used. With that in mind, below are some suggestions for buying an RV battery.
Step One: Read Your RV’s Manual
The first step to buying an RV battery is to read your RV’s instruction manual fully. The manual lays out what type of battery is needed for the RV and helps to lay out the parameters that the battery needs to have for it to perform correctly in the RV.
